How To Join
Hello There
Our group was founded initially as the Cult of Exar Kun. However, we observed a shift in our membership over time, with an increasing number of Dark Jedi and Grey Jedi and fewer staunch Sith adherents. Consequently, we have evolved into an autonomous organization that maintains its independence from the Republic and the Empire. Our Council predominantly consists of individuals who are, or once were, Sith. The ascension of Acina to Empress catalyzed us to formally establish ourselves as a neutral entity. We maintain diplomatic relations with both factions, provided it serves our interests. Our cooperation with the Empire or the Republic is conditional and based on aligning objectives. We believe that Star Wars is a vast and diverse universe that can accommodate all kinds of stories and themes, and we are always looking for new and exciting ways to challenge ourselves as storytellers and Star Wars fans.
The DSC is more than a group; it‘s a sanctuary for shared adventures and mutual respect. Every plot is a collaborative canvas, and every character‘s journey is valued. We believe in external narratives that bind us in purpose, creating a tapestry of profound and uplifting experiences.
Our size does not deter us; it empowers us. This new chapter on Star Forge is not just another expansion—it’s our bold new frontier. We are the DSC, and we invite you to join us as we chart the unexplored reaches of the galaxy. Embrace the adventure and become a part of something greater. The stars await your decision.
Lore Purists with a Twist
We embrace custom lore while respecting the Star Wars universe. Rather than breaking canon, we explore the gaps and enrich the existing lore.
Level of Activity
Casual with Immersive Events: We balance casual play with immersive events. While casual participation is the norm, our scheduled events are crafted to be engaging and sometimes intense, offering a deeper dive into the galaxy.
Age Restrictions
21+ Guild: We cater to a mature audience with themes requiring members to be 21 or older.
Player Expectations & Rules
- Respect: Mutual respect is the cornerstone of our community.
- Contribution: Active contribution to guild life is encouraged, enhancing the experience for all.
- Conduct: We uphold a code of conduct that fosters a positive and inclusive environment for all members.
Themes, Factions, & Characters
- Themes: We specialize in grittier storylines that explore the complexities of politics and the galaxy.
- Factions: As a neutral coalition, we welcome characters from all factions who seek more than the galaxy‘s black-and-white morality. We ask for an opportunity to be open-minded. It’s not the right guild for lore purists.
- Characters: We desire characters rich in backstory and motivation ready to engage in our collaborative narrative.
Dynamic Character Development
We encourage characters with untapped potential. Instead of rigid scripts, we prioritize growth and organic storytelling. This approach avoids the “main-character syndrome” and fosters a collaborative roleplay experience.
No ERP, Just Community
We’re not an ERP guild. While we appreciate character relationships, we focus on building a supportive community where members connect beyond romantic encounters.
Star Forge (Empire side)
This is our secondary server, with a smaller and newer roleplaying community. Here, you can help us shape and grow our guild and enjoy our stronghold. You can also interact with other roleplayers from our partner guilds who share our passion and vision for Star Wars. To join us on Star Forge, you must create a character on this server and apply through our website. Once you are accepted, you will receive an in-game invitation to join the guild.
Satele Shan (Empire side)
This is our main server, with the most active and diverse roleplaying community. Here, you can enjoy all the guild amenities, such as a flagship, a stronghold, and a guild bank. You can also participate in events, campaigns, and stories we create and host regularly. To join us on Satele Shan, you must create a character on this server and apply through our website. Discord Only
This is our alternative option, where you can roleplay with us without playing the game. Here, you can enjoy a text-based RP experience where you can create and develop your characters, stories, and lore using our Discord channels and bots. You can chat with other members, share your ideas and feedback, and stay updated on our guild news and activities. To join us on Discord-only, you must register on our website and join our Discord server. You will then have access to our resources.
