Who is the Keeper?

Once his name was Exegesis. Few in the Empire live for which the name would mean anything. Time or misfortune befell to the remnants of Imperial Intelligence. In the transition to Sith Intelligence, there was too much opportunity for records being misplaced.

Now, the Deep Stellar Coalition refer to their leader as Keeper of Secrets. A masked figure cloaked in living shadows. When seen, it barely seems as if he is present, his form translucent as the cloak of darkness seems to obscure and move through his form. From the slits in his mask wear eyes should be billow and ripple streams of those same shadows. Those who hear him speak say he does so only in whisper; a whisper that seems to surround and come from all directions. A deafening whisper.

Coalition spies within Republic and Empire have conflicting reports on the Keeper. Some saying her is but a myth to distract from or protect the true leadership of the Deep Stellar Coalition. Some suggest he was killed long ago, but remains as a fallen idol, much the way the Coalition once revered Exar Kun. Another reports he is simply a code name for the Coalition’s commander in charge of intelligence operations, Commander Vhalin. It is widely agreed the abilities reported regarding the Keeper are beyond the pale of Force manipulation and suggestive of alchemy or yet to be deciphers techniques.

Presently, both factions and even the Hutt Cartel offer a bounty in excess of one hundred million credits for capture of the mythic Keeper of Secrets. Much like the standing bounty for Exar Kun, should the Sith ever return, no one expects collection.
